The 30th Annual Congress of the European Economic Association will be held at the University of Mannheim from Monday August 24 to Thursday August 27, 2015.

The Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim is delighted to host this Congress. Research of the highest quality in economic theory and applications is one of the cornerstones of the Mannheim Department of Economics. The 21 full-time senior faculty members and numerous junior faculty members are engaged in a variety of research projects at the frontiers of their fields, covering micro and macroeconomics, econometrics, statistical methods, labour economics, industrial organization, financial economics, public economics, economic history, development economics and international trade. Over the last 40 years, the Department has gained high regard in the national and international scientific community.

The Local Arrangements Committee (LAC), chaired by Jochen Streb, looks forward to working with the EEA 2015 Scientific Program Committee Chair, Volker Nocke, and welcoming you all to Mannheim.
