The position involves research in algorithmic pricing methods in imperfectly competitive markets. Of particular interest is the examination of potential collusion between algorithms during the pricing stages. Do algorithms indeed learn to collude as some recent works show? Studying the implications for competition authorities is also of interest. An MSc in Economics/Computer Science/Mathematics or any other technical field is a prerequisite for applying for this position. |
