Mercedes-Benz

For over 100 years founded from Carl Benz himself, the factory in Mannheim is one of the biggest employers and training companies in the area of Rhein-Neckar. Environmentalism, innovations and safety – these topics have a huge priority. It is shown for example in the competence center for emission-free mobility or alternative engines. The manufacturing of engines and the foundry belong to the location as well as the bus fabrication which is responsible for the producing of the Citaro, the worldwide most-suc- cessful city bus.
